Voyager

Friday, February 27: As a museum celebrating both air travel and space travel, the Air & Space Museum has several replicas and "spare parts" copies of actual space vehicles. This is a mock-up of a Voyager spacecraft, which, when I was very young, was launched to study the outer solar system. Pictures from the Voyager probes helped to spark an interest in planetary exploration in me and in many people growing up at the same time I was.
