Sandspit Trail

July 23, 2007; Raspberry Island: After the tour of the lighthouse, I headed down the Sandspit Trial, which cuts across the island to a small sand bay on the other side. In the earliest days of the lighthouse, this used to be the main path to bring goods to the lighthouse--there were no stairs leading up the cliff as there are today.
