Wisconsin Stone

Monday, March 5, 2007: Various states and organizations donated commemorative stones to be placed in the interior of the Washington Monument during and after its construction. Ordinarily, these stones aren't visible, except for a brief period when the windows in the elevator are made transparent. Since I was walking down the stairs, I got to see them all. This is the Wisconsin stone.
